The main house
To give you an impression of the main house we have described miscellaneous rooms. We will add pictures of all rooms to our website during the coming months.
All rooms inside the house are a non-smoking area. The terrain and the house is not suitable for people that have difficulty walking or are in a wheelchair.
Ground floor
The large living-kitchen area (30 sq. meters) has a kitchen which provides: a hand basin, a fridge, a four burner stove, a toaster, an electric kettle, a coffee maker; there is a dishwasher, large dining area and a living area.
A door from the kitchen leads into a spacious living room (25 sq. meters) equipped with a modern leather sofa, a coffee table and a cupboard. An extra guest bedroom (4,5 sq. meters) is added to the living room. It will make it possible to invite a relative or a friend for a short visit (for a fee) if you are staying with us for a longer period.
The French windows lead to the small terrace, that gives direct access to the garden with a little stone staircase.
First floor
The mezzanine is accessible via a large open wooden staircase from the living area and is around 17 sq. meters. It is furnished with a long reading table with 5 chairs, a comfortable two persons couch, an armchair and a bookcase all filled with books and some DVD's.
The adjacent guest room (15 sq. meters), with the walls restored in the original way ('pierres apparantes'), is furnished in classic style and equipped with a spring box bed (1.20m X 2.00m), a small wardrobe and a two-seater couch. The room has two windows with a view on the garden and the woods. The room has a luxurious bathroom (6 sq. meters) with a toilet, a shower and a sink.
Two other guest rooms are accessible from the mezzanine via a closed hallway. Both rooms make use of one bathroom (3 sq. meters) with a shower, a sink and a separate toilet.
One of the guest rooms (12 sq. meters) will have a colonial touch and is equipped with a two persons bed (1.40 m x 2 m), a built-in wardrobe and two comfortable armchairs. This room views over the garden and bordering fields and woods.
In the other guest room (13 sq. meters) there will be an antique one person bed (1.10 x 1.90 m), a wardrobe and an armchair. You can see the garden and bordering fields and woods from this room, too.
These rooms are available from the 1st of November 2011 or earlier. This depends on when we can move to the 17th century house.
